Set up as of the 2020-2021 season, the Opéra national de Lorraine implements NOX (Nancy Opera Xperience), a laboratory for lyric creation.
Its aim is to rethink the way an opera is produced by inviting artists to work during a long period, in an informal dialogue, elaborating a production in close association with the region.
The result of NOX is an experience shared with the public.

NOX#1 Êtes-vous amoureux? is the first project in the Nancy Opera Xperience programme. It was created on 25 March 2021 and can be discovered online.

NOX#2 Rendez-vous près du feu took place on Place Stanislas from 27 September to 3 October 2022.
NOX#2 - Rendez-vous by the fire

NOX#3 - The Incredulous is an opera on the theme of the mircale. It will be presented from 18 to 24 June 2025.
