At the end of December, a class from Nancy's Charlemagne school was able to discover the Opera and its professions, thanks to the Au cœur de l'œuvre (At the heart of the work) program, based on our production of Donizetti's Don Pasquale.
The artistic and cultural education department and Isabelle, a props maker, accompanied the students on this backstage tour of the Opera.
The tour included a guided tour of the opera house, a rehearsal, a meeting with the artists and a performance, and ended with a visit to the set on the opera stage, and a tailor-made workshop in which the students were introduced to the work of a of prop maker, reproducing elements of the Don Pasquale set in a workshop.
